To see "La vie en rose", here is a brand new version of our delicately rose-scented candle. Imagined by Mathilde Carron-Astier de Villatte, inspired by the memory of old roses lovingly cultivated by Pierre Carron.

Description

Handmade scented candle crafted in France. Custom-created fragrance. Pure wax, 100% vegetable, paraffin-free, with cotton wick, milky-white enameled terracotta clay. 260g of perfumed wax, approx 50 hours burning time. The first burn is important as it sets the burn memory. When lighting for the first time, ensure it is alight long enough for an even wax pool to develop to the edge of the vessel. To ensure an even burn and the best scent throw experience, be sure to trim the wick to 5mm before each use.

Care & Crafting

Ceramic container made by hand with black terracotta clay, glazed to create a milky white finish. A special crafting technic that makes every item unique and precious. Candles are then carefully hand-poured into each ceramic vessel using a traditional method. Of course, you can keep the container once the candle is completely burned out to use it as a pretty pot.

Never burn for longer than 2 hours, or when the wax level reaches less than 2cm from the vessel base. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from draughts, children, pets, or flammable objects like curtains. Always ensure candles are placed on a non-flammable base while burning.

The story behind

Rose

Inspired by the poetic essence of roses, the "Rose" collection serves as a virtual bridge between the antique Pompeian frescoes and the scents of rosa damascena, rosa centifolia, and rosa gallica Officinalis. From Pierre de Ronsard, who invites us to see "voir si la rose Qui ce matin avoit desclose Sa robe de pourpre au Soleil", to Pierre Carron, who lovingly cultivated the most beautiful antique roses, adorning the eyelids of my childhood. The collection offers a touch of sophistication and vintage charm, with delicate details inviting you to live with refinement and grace.
